4-H banquet

17 08 2010

The 4-H banquet was on Friday. It was so sad to say bye to everybody but it was great to see everybody in one place to say bye.

Little Tressa Watkins was so sweet. A couple of months ago she told me she wanted to make me a cake for my graduation. Well, she brought one to the banquet for me. A chocolate piano cake. I’m still eating it! Jim put it up on stage with the awards to save it from being devoured by the masses on the desert table. I really realized how much I am going to miss working with Jim, Tracy, and Cindy. They are fun, and they get stuff done. There was a loose chicken outside of the building but we didn’t get a chance to catch it.

I didn’t get a chance to know Adam, Grady, or Sara too well while I was in 4-H and I wish I had.

I was reminded why high drama girls really aren’t my thing. I mean in 20 years nobody is going to remember which dress you wore, or who was late to set up decorations.
