I tried to write a rhyming ode.  Failed miserably.   But this is a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Allie post.  Yep, been friends for 16 years.  I was a total butt to her when I was younger.  You know how it is your little sibling follows you around EVERYWHERE and wants to be just like you? and you think of them as so annoying until you learn that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  Then thats when you appreciate them.  Also knowing that your actions impact them.  I’ve seen her pick up the weirdest habits and things I say and sometimes its not a good thing but it makes me realize that maybe I shouldn’t talk like that, or act like that. Little sisters teach you a lot.  All my life people have asked if we were twins because she was always my size and we always shared clothes.  Nowadays since she has passed me up a bit, people ask if she is older.  I just roll my eyes and say no.  People tell me that I will appreciate looking younger later.  For now I get to put up with people thinking I am 13-16.  Now I just can’t wait until she finishes up with school so that she can come to Texas Tech with me.  I’ll have all the great places scoped out beforehand.

Now if you are reading this Allie you still need to do algebra, and practice piano. ;)
